First of all I would like no anonymous posting. Where is the variable that requires someone to register before being able to post?
Also within a post there is a label after the name letting people know how many posts they've done I assume. For my first couple of posts it has said "stranger." Where do I edit these names and also I am seeing the name and then a space before the closing parentheses like this:
(stranger )
I'd like to fix that to the following:
(stranger)
Also where can I set the default for the preview a post variable to on so that it is checked?
Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Disabling the post ability of anonymous users is done with the Groups feature. You would edit a board's write groups, and remove the checkbox from the Guest group.
Titles are stored in the filters directory in a file called usertitles.
The default for the preview screen is set in w3tvars.pm, the $config{'Preview'} variable.
