Upon new user registration (with first password sent by email option enabled) the resulting screen has the following message at the top:

(the password email never makes it to the new registrant)

Note: This is on a *nix box. The mailer works fine, it sends out admin notices of new registrations approvals and so forth.

I'll need to do a little research on the error codes and condition, thanks for the report.

So far I've been unable to find any info on what this error code is. It looks like it's coming directly from sendmail possibly. Anyone know of some sendmail links so I can check to see if this error code is from sendmail and what it is?

Hrm... I searched for sendmail 17152, and the most relevant thing I turned up was on a Majordomo page:

Mailer /usr/lib/sendmail exited unexpectedly with error 17152
This indicates an unsuccessful attempt to deliver email. This usually happens when one of the email addresses in your mailing list is incorrect. Look for the "To:" header in the bounced message, and make any needed corrections to your list using subscribe/unsubscribe
