Just wondering, if I go and install 6.0.1, am I going to then discover 6.0.2 is being released the next day? Or is Scream going to wait, and go for a later release of 6.1?

There will probably be a 6.0.2 but it will be awhile yet. We really didn't want to release 6.0.1 so soon after 6.0 was out but there were some pretty major ones. I'll probably wait until I can get all bugs closed for 6.0.2, so you won't have to update for some time

Do the closed threads in the 6.0.1 bugs forum provide an accurate indication of which bugs will be fixed in 6.0.2?

Yes, threads that have been closed and either have a fix posted, or have a note that a fix is unable to be posted are bugs that are fixed so far for 6.0.2.

For the benefit of anyone on 6.0.1 I find the best way is to implement every fix as Rick posts, and closes each thread. That way you will be as up to date as possible. When 6.0.2 does come out you could then use Beyond Compare to check for any other files that are differemt, making an upgrade really simple. Beyond Compare is at www.scootersoftware.com and is really useful, now on version 2. Ian

Yes, I find BeyondCompare indispensible for upgrading UBB.classic, UBB.threads and other stuff. Kudos to Rick for posting the fixes (when feasible). P.S. BeyondCompare 2 allows comparison of .zip files without having to unzip them manually first. I've requested that they (Scooter Software) add the same capability for .gz files. If they get enough requests for this, maybe they'll add it (*hint*).

I agree. Kudos to Rick for posting the fixes. They are usually simple characters here or there... and then we don't have to wait for the fixes.
