Not bad; are renewals only for sale or is there a discount on upgrades and new licenses? I'd love to get a cheaper gold license

I looked on teh site and the Sales area only reflects a discount on Membership Area Renewal.

We want to do something nice for existing customers, and to encourage people to get those old boards we still see up to date.

If I get a renewal, will that extend my current license beyond the length of which it was going to orignally expire? Or does it start from the time I get the renewal? I'm presuming the former but would just like clarification please
