Is there any way to see the ip's of registered members when viewing "whos online" ?

As it is, I have IP #'s viewable only by Mods and Admins. In whos online. But the ip only shows for "anonymous" visitors. If the person is a registered member, thier member name shows instead.

I would like to see their member name, PLUS their current IP #.

I don't really understand how a hack that allows us to see the "referrer", or the last place that a person visited... can be used to make both the username, and the current IP# of registered members both show in the "whos online" page.

Of course, I'm not the brightest bulb in the store.

Can someone help me out on this ? Is it even possible ?

Josh is quite busy with his vacation and all. Plus bouncing between his own forums, Infopops and here. It really is best to post your questions and whatnot into the forums so that everyone, including other users, may benifit from the answers. Other users may have had the same problems and be able to offer their own solutions as well.

Just a thought, perhaps you may want to hire one of the developers in the "Developers for Hire" board to customize the modification to suit your needs? When I made this modification I had originally had the info your wanting to be displayed in use but I decided that users wouldn't like their info being displayed so kept it limited to anonymous users. I'm sure it can be modified to do so again.

If the info is only seen by mods and admins I don't see the problem. Mods and admins can see ip's when people post (it's an option anyways.) This information can be useful in tracking down people causing problems and what not.
I too like the idea of a hack like this. Although I'm having a hell of a time modifying the above mentioned one.
