Hi All

I'm trying to put target="_blank" in a link inside the custom box of II5.1 but it doesn't like it, here's what I have............

<img src="http://www.hillcrestknitwear.com/ubbthreads/images/addtobook.gif">
<a href="http://www.hillcrestknitwear.com/ubbthreads/index.php?Cat=">Your fav link</a>

With the obvious begin end echo"; statements

So where do I put target="_blank"

Also while I'm here how do I put graphics in for the heading bg of box.

THX

Thanks

The target attribute goes inside the <a> tag, right after the href="" part.

<a href="http://www.blahblahblah.com" target="_blank">Click Here</a>

You will have to reconstruct the portion of the box that uses the table wrappers to create the heading. Otherwise you will have to modify the wrappers themselves to put your background image in which will then display in all of the boxes.

Hi Dave

Got thanks Dave

Here it's with the [:"red"] \ [/] put in just in case someone else is trying to do it.

echo "<a href=[:"red"]\[/]"http://www.blahblahblah.com[:"red"]\[/]" target=[:"red"]\[/]"_blank[:"red"]\[/]">Click Here</a>";

Hi Dave

Okay I've changed to the Blam Ice TABLE

/blueblam_r10_c11.gif

I can't find slices on my site, they just display grey in the headed.

Do I just replace these with my own images?

That wrapper is for use with Allen's port of Bookie's Blam Templates.

The templates for 6.2 will need to changed to use this though but it's simpler to do now that 6.2 has "table wrappers" in the template directory.

Hi dave

I think I have got mixed up I will change it back to Standard.

[] templates for 6.2 [/]

Edit; I only have UBB.threads™ 6.1.1

Don't wan't to upgrade right now as I am just making my site I would hate to have lots of bugs flying around.

Anyway to start over -

1). Do I have to change the templates in threads 6.1 to change the bg on the custom boxes to a graphic?

2). If so where or what do I change?

So many programmes and versions running at once and I am still in UBB Classic mode (I upgraded) so these are all new to me.

3). Is there a list that tells you what template are for what?

THX
