Hi all

Am I correct in saying that a new user that registers also has to login afterwards even though registration does not need approved.

If so is there a way to log them in automatically after they register, as some of my users are new to all this and I have teasers on the forum, they think they are logging in when they are registering, so some of them think there is something wrong and go away.

Any ideas on this?

Auto login is done via a cookie stored on the user's PC, and I don't know of a way to set that without having a user log in at least once.

How about posting your teaser? Maybe we can reword it in such a way that your registered users don't get confused.

I have a few teasers that actually say "only available to registered members. Register and Login" them to it was just a thought that would maybe make it easier for the "elderly" that should be registering, I don't even think they may be reading everything anyway.

I think I will have to write something ion the registration page in BIG letters.
