this is just a suggestion, but for large forums with lots of posts when you want to go back to one you posted in or wanted to see a response in, it's kind of like that movie where that dude loses his watch in that cows uh huh, and then has to stick has hand back in there to get it. Sometimes you just check the main index to see if a new post is made and who its by and if nothing is there you know another reply isn't made in that thread yet, but if there are a bunch of posts since then, you don't necessarily know if another has been made in that thread. So...
If there was a little icon you could click beside that post that would show up at the top of the main forum indicating another post has been made to a thread you are interested in, it would help. Kinda like a mail icon for new messages.
Then you could just click it and go there, or, if you've subscribed to more than one, then it would take you to a list of posts and you could click on the one you want to see. If you wanted to unsubscribe to the thread, you would just click the little icon thing by the thread title and you'd be unsubscribed with it, otherwise, it'd stay up there until there were no more unread responses.
I don't know if there is much of a need for this or if anyone would even want it at all.
I'm just trying to think of something. I'm tired of making coffee all the time.
