Hey, I just wondered if someone could take a look at the attached file and maybe tidy it up a little by perhalps putting the information in a table with the border I use on the header and footer. Also if you might be able to use the information on all the pages in 1 page? I just think it's tacky and needs tidying up but I'm not good enough to do it.
This is the signup page for my webmail system
I'd appreciate any help from anyone
p.s. The "newaccuntfail" page has been renamed to a html page, normally it doesn't have an extension and loads when there's a problem with any of the fields are wrong and they click submit.
Basically yea, The header and the footer I have sorted. I just want the actual content putting in a border like you have done. Then I just need the signup tidying up a bit. It's spread out over 5 pages, if it can be neatly added to one page that would be great and 1 page for the confirmation But because it's forms, I dont want to mess with it as I wouldn't know how to be sure all the information would be posted to the correct place upon submit.
I know it's not a lot of work for some people but for me I can't do it because it's not my expertise.
It's just the little things like not letting them continue unless they have filled out all the fields and making sure the telephone number box is numerical.
These files you have zipped up are they source views of the actual files. There is alot of excess html in there. If they are source views then please post the real files.
Just in case it help i've attached the WHOLE signup directory and everything in it. I dont know what you mean when you say "source views" so I hope this helps
LOL well what I am saying is I am not going to drop everything and do it this second. Then work starts tomorow. When I get a few I will tidy it up. No its not a big job. There are about 8 html files that need to be redone.
Here is another preview of another one I just finished for you.
Any change you can change the submit button though? it's awfull lol
Is there any way of putting the registration (pages: index, page1, page 2, page 3 and page 4) onto 1 page though? Then have all the information post in 1 page and redirect them straight to page5 which which is the confirmation page?
Actually It can be done yes. I must tell you the HTML in there is nasty. Getting it to validate is a complete rewrite so I will see about combining things a bit.
Okay just wanted to let ya know I am about half way through the HTML. Things have been way hectic at work so I am just doing this when I get a few spare mins at a time kinda trying to prop my feet up and relax at the same time. Kinda like one file at a time. Probally have this wrapped up tomorow night.
