Thanks Dave_L, that's exactly what I needed. I thought I needed the ' but obvuiously not.  Just_Dave, this is for the TLD (Threads Links Directory) I've been working on, and this does the trick. I'll be finishing this up tonight at work and posting a release hopefully by the end of my graveyard shift if I don't have any distractions. Thanks guys.

The back quotes (``) for table names and column names are only needed if the names contain spaces (and possibly other special characters). You could reduce the amount of text in that query by using table aliases, which might (or might not) make it easier to read: SELECT f.uid,f.lid,l.lid,l.title,l.url,l.description <br />FROM w3t_links_favorites as f, w3t_links_links as l <br />WHERE f.uid = 2 <br />AND f.lid = l.lid
