Anyone ever get a frontpage forum imported into a threads forum?

I'd like to turn a guy onto threads, but I'd hate to see him have to start from scratch.

You might post this in the 'dev for hire' forum if you don't get any takers here

does this run on an access database?

The actual one I'd like to see switched to a threads site is

Nope, best I can tell it's using frontpages interal generators to write the posts directly to htm files and updating an toc.htm file as it's index.

uhg.. one would need a set of scripts that would crawl each page and extract the data and then place it into the database while retaining it's previous structure.

/me backs away slowly... lol

I'm thinking they are maybe a 100 messages or so, most with no more than one or two replies. It'd probably be just as simple to go thorugh them manually cutting and pasting.
