good so the issues have been pushed up the ladder. I have bundled them so I don't become the most notorious problem poster here. :-)

First off, the boards are at www.tigerboards.net

1. What is the (I) next the usernames on the "Who's online" page?

2. Is there a way to make a forum where a guest can view the topics but not be able to see the content of the post? This is for a later forum for members only, but we want people to see that there are posts there.

3. Is there a way to put a space between the individual threads. (Yes, I'm asking again :-)) I think I have figured it out (in theory) by setting the hot thread count to 0 and making the hot thread image taller. But, when I tried this I couldn't figure it out. There was no setting in the image size file to adjust that image. Then when I thought I had it figured out, it didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

4. Is there anything I can do to correct posts not being displayed as visited when they should be. People are already complaining about this.

5. Using HTML in posts and in sigs. This is really inconsistent, some users have trouble and some don't. Are there any common problems that I should know about?

Thanks, this board has been a life saver.

I can tackle a couple of these for you.

1. The (I) means that the user chose to be invisible, only admins and/or mods can see that user.

2. No, however you can create a Teaser Forum which is just as good.

3. Have a look (or search) in the Forum Design Integration forum here, I think it's been covered.

4. Unfortunately not, this is a known bug and at the time, there is no workaround.

5. It really depends on what sort of HTML you are using, certain scripts may not be compatible with either the board code or javascript so it's hit or miss.

There actually is a mod around here to do this... Displays the postlist topics, but not actual topics on the showflat pages -> and can be set for different forums.

I can get most of the questions too:

http://ubbcentral.com/support/docs.php?product=UBB.threads

There are many docs there that have answered most all your questions already + the ones you plan to ask in the future
