ok, so i think i've done everything right so far for UBBthreads 6.4. uploaded the files in ascii and binary mode as asked. run the install.php, set up the mysql database on my domain control panel. Everything is fine until i get to the "create the database tables" and i get this error
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/angstn2/public_html/ubbthreads/createtable.php on line 63
what can it mean. i notice also that on my control panel for mysql databases there are a couple of buttons that don't seen to work. (check and repair). could this be the cause of the problem. i am using Lunarpages.
very confused. any help would be gratefully recieved.
(i've tried that error thing on the locked thread above, seems to make no difference.)

My guess is that during the initial setup you have a path wrong. Check all the paths in the config.inc.php - remember anytime it's asking for a path, it needs a complete path from root.
