I just donwload the newst 6.5 version and start doing the update form my old 6.3. Both Threads.
at the step 22 on the readme file, I was supose to run the altertable6.3-6.4. When I try to run it I got this error message:
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /... (mywhole path, and it's correct).../forum/mysql.inc.php on line 140
My forum is closed, as requested and I'm not sure what to do now.
PHP Version 4.3.2
MySQL 3.23.33
and yes, the all forum was working before the update.
Any ideas?

I get that too, but... your problems are far from over, just wait until you get to the language portion. You might want to run the altertable script that updates to 6.3 (I think it's the 6.2.3 to 6.3 or something like that). I did it and it didn't give me problem with the sql command.

Did you move the config.inc.php, main.inc.php and theme.inc.php file into the /includes directory. Looks like you didn't move those files yet. You'll need to do that before you can run any altertables.
