UBB.Developers Forums UBB.threads 7 Development How Do I? Installation Error: Require help

I just registered with a host. Upon installation, I receive the following errors:

Warning: main(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/includes/config.inc.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/xxxx:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/xxxx/public_html/ubbt.inc.php on line 51

Warning: main(/includes/config.inc.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in /home/xxxx/public_html/ubbt.inc.php on line 51

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/includes/config.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/xxxx/public_html/ubbt.inc.php on line 51

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getmicrotime() in /home/xxxx/public_html/includes/main.inc.php on line 16

------------

This happens right after step 6: All config files have been created. You may now proceed to creating the database tables.

I am hoping someone can help exlain my problem to me.

Thanks,

Hedgehog

Moving to "installation issues" - it sounds like open_basedir restriction is turned on your server - you'll need to contact your host first to see what the setup is. It also sounds like you need to check permissions on your includes files.
