Hi guys,

I'd like to clone my board to test the import to UBB7. My mysql DB is 70 megs. I was going to try cloning to another server with a different domain.

My production board is 6.5.1 with the patches. What would be the best way for me to clone it and upgrade to 6.5.5 to get ready to test the importer?

Will I be able to import the whole DB with phpmyadmin from the cPanel of each domain? I tried installing phpMyBackupPro to one of my domains and didn't have any luck. I sort of think the server admin has it blocked or disallowed.

Step by step instructions would be greatly apreciated.

You can use the backup function in your current install, then install the test forum at the new site and use phpmyadmin to update the tables there with your backed up sql files.

I am pretty sure there will be a better way than that once we get closer to beta public release

Well, that was easy enough to do. I'm all set. Although it's a little un-nerving to be looking at a stock install of Threads. I can't remember the last time I had seen one of those.
