Not to be the one complaining but just curious about the "powered by xxx" statements. Now when a customer buys a product, one has no problem displaying a "powered by xxx" in the footer of each webpage. In the case with .threads, how come so many notices? For example, as I am posting this I see "Make a New Post - Forum (Chit Chat) - Forums powered by UBB.threads(tm)" in the explorer title name. Also, I see the normal footer with it's "powered by InfoPop - UBB.threads vX.XX"? As a customer, wouldn't you want your site name mentioned somewhere there too? For example, the title page? Isn't this overkill + FREE advertising for InfoPop? I understand there is an understanding not to modify the footer's "powered by xxx", but would it be possible to modify the title name without risking lic. agreement?

Yes, you're right.
You can change it though.
Edit your ubbt_header.tmpl file
Find where it says:
<title>$inputTitle - {$ubbt_lang['POWERED_BY']} UBB.threads™</title>
and change it to something like:
<title>$inputTitle - YourSiteName.com</title>
