I am in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or BST as we are now (British Summer Time).

What other time zones are people in?

I'm -5 GMT here on the East coast of the US. The US's west coast is -8 GMT (California for example) Chicago is -6 GMT and Denver is -7 GMT.

I am in EST (Eastern Standard Time) and we are currently observing DST (Daylight Savings Time). Whats wierd is that some towns don't observe DST.

Until it either falls into the Pacific in "the big one" or gets swamped under a tsunami.

I'd take that over twisters, blizzards and hurricanes any day of the week

Well, in Maryland we've had one twister that I can recall, zero blizzards (too far south) and one hurricane in the early 80s. Oh, but we did have like a earthquake a few years ago that was like a 2 point something.

I'm PST time zone. I like that I can watch TV shows 3 hours early (direct tv shows at est) with out having to stay up late to watch

So, since the US is now in Daylight Savings Time, we in EDT are -4 GMT. When does England go to Daylight Savings Time so it'll be back to -5? Or do they?

I remember Italy went 1 week before the states.

I was in Italy for that - and somehow, while on vacation - got SCREWED and lost the hour twice.

I think I need to vacation there again when it changes back so I can gain the hour back twice - otherwise I've shaved a year off my life.

I'm on Central Standard Time, whatever difference that is. I'm pretty sure when it's 2:00 am here, it's 8:00 am in London.

We are in BST now - British Summer Time. It is now 09:25 - so you can compare this time, with the time shown that your copy of threads thinks I posted this at
