I found this program via Leoville. It's pretty nifty. It takes a screenie of your desktop every so often (you set the interval) and then FTPs it up to a server. Does anyone else here use it? I have it running at work when I'm logged in. Here's the latest picture:

I have it set to update every minute. I get off at 4PM ( about 20 minutes) so it will only be updated for a little bit. I'll hook one up on my home computer later.

Question...

Why would you want a picture of your desktop taken every few minutes?

Like I don't have enough problems with my "big brother" mental complex now.

It's a reverse-voyeur thing. LOL It's like, you have a webcam and you can see the person sitting in front of the computer. And some people wonder, I wonder what he's looking it? This can answer that. It's all about the online community.

I've done the webcam for the leovillagers. http://www.joshuapettit.com/cam

But I would NOT want people seeing what's on my screen.

LOL

Yeah, I'm sure they'd be surprised at how "pure of heart" you are.

My point exactly Josh!

I get so many emails a day from my site, and a couple other that I run, that I really would be paranoid about privacy. I think I'll steer clear of that particular program.

ha, thanks!

I try to keep my desktops as uncluttered as can be. The machine I use most at my house has shortcuts for each drive arranged down the left, network neighborhood on the lower right. no wall paper. A few shortcuts in teh quick start bar. The rest have nothing on the desktop at all.

Here at work my laptop has current .zips of all our downloadables, all of the paperwork I need daily and weekly and not a lot else.

I also try to remember to uninstall anything I have not used in over a month from all of my machines.

Whoa, sounds familiar Navaho.

I have a 40 gig drive... the most it's ever had on it is 20 gig. LOL

I like a clean and well organized machine... hundreds of desktop icons drives me nuts!

I also painstakingly organize my start menu in XP as well. Everything in its place, nice and neat.

Erm... Oops... are we getting fftopic: ??

*sneaks out*

PS: Josh... offtopic is broken too!

Couldn't you just rename the ubbcode for that graemlin?

How come it worked before?
