3 days ago I posted in a thread at www.ubbcentral.com about how they relly would need to make subforums for UBBthreads. I think (I can't tell for sure because the thread got dumped) I wrote that if they don't they will only lose more customers to vbulletin and invision.

Today I go there, and the image below awaits me.
Sad, sad for Infopop that one can't mention the name of another board there without getting banned.

I didn't ban you and I'm certainly not going to comment any more than what's been said about subforums, since it's been discussed quite enough already but since this issue has been made public now, I can bring up your exact post:

[]
It seems that Infopop doesn't think subforums is something people would appreciate.....

Ah well, thank god there is vbulletin out there where they think different.

My only comment on this is there are a ton of feature requests made all of the time, and there is a list of every feature request ever made unless it's just totally ludicrous like "I want my forum to make coffee for me". Subforums are on the list along with everything else. Not every feature will make it obviously. And keep in mind, with the new product our inital plans are to try and duplicate the current feature sets of both products.

This SOOO doesn't make sense. If you are developing a new product more or less from scratch, then it would be much, much easier to put something like subforums into the new product from the start on, instead of (possibly, who knows if ever) coding it into the existing product in a few years.

But as you said, the issue has been discussed enough already. I am officially done with it.

I really don't expect it to make sense. There are some things about how we're designing this that we can't put out as public information. If you had all the facts, then it would probably make more sense I'm sure. Unforuntately we can't lay out our entire plan in public, not because we don't know what we're doing, but as with developing any product things can change daily. So, I'd much prefer to give little information than alot of information that could turn out to be totally wrong by the time it's released.

I don't know actually. Like I said, I wasn't the one that banned you and don't make those decisions in the first place. However, I will point out this thread to the appropriate party.

I don't understand why you came here to ask about a problem you had on UBBCentral.
