I have a Lawn Boy mower and a cordless Black and Decker weed whacker that I love. But I still hate mowing.

If I need anything else... I just borrow my neighbor's.

Looks like you have a good start for props on a "B" type horror flick.

It warms my heart to see another fan of Craftsman.

Craftsman I feel are some of the best tools out there next to Snap-On which is hard to find unless ya know a Mechanic

And their prices are better than Snap-On or Mac or the others. You can always get replacement parts if you can find the part number on what ever needs replaced.

My dad built his house from scratch with a Craftsman table saw. My mom didn't care to see an entire teacher's paycheck pay for it back then, but now realizes it was worth it.

My mom just had a new Kraftmaid kitchen put in that cost more than what it cost to build the entire house in the sixties and early seventies. She still won't admit to us what she spent.

My dad is the same way with Craftsman tools. We call him the Craftsman God.

Funny I came across this post... my fiancé spent over an hour in Sears last week (with me in tow) walking aisle by aisle over tools and lawn care. Seems he was merely taking inventory of items he did not have in our garage.



I must say, I cannot complain. When things break, he's my fix-it guy. And, he is certainly most patient with me on my own sprees.



Btw, any suggestions for a gift tool set he could take with him when traveling cross country in case he runs into car trouble? From what I gather, he carries with only a small case.

Well Sandi a few questions.. the kit he has now does it have a flashlite, jumpercables, a pair of pliers and roll of duct tape? cause really thats all ya need... also maybe throw an old belt in there maybe a size 44 incase one of the fan belts goes.. I mean you can always twist the duct tape enough to make a temp fan belt but really thats all ya need

He has a couple of flashlights, a pliers and a small case with sockets in it. I can ask about the rest since he does have a plastic travel box in the back of his SUV. However, since Craftsman/Sears is a place he likes to shop, I thought maybe there would be an "all-in-one" tool case to replace his motley combination.

Nonetheless, who would have thought duct tape would have so many uses. Thx!

You don't need duct tape or even a belt for a fan belt - what is wrong with a pair of ladies tights? (not 100% sure if you call them tights?) - they have got many a motorist going over the years

well depends... is your name Joe Namath? or do you have a lady close by? if not then ya normally wouldn;t have toghts

Funny... tights are what dancers wear. You might better refer to them as hosiery, or simply pantyhose, if ever you decide to purchase them for your companion. However, I doubt hosiery would do the trick... they're susceptable to runs.
