I'm too busy playing EQ2 to buy another game right now. Not to mention too broke. And I really should be working on my boards...

I played Half Life, was fun and spooky and all that jazz. Should be interesting to see how HL2 pans out.

Have fun with your launch party.

So how is EQ2? I played the original and then went on to Dark Ages of Camelot.

Well I've had EQLive (or EQ1 if you like) since release and have paid for it since, even though I didn't play much in the last year and a half.

EQ2 is BIG. I mean huge, detailed, beautiful. They really took all the things they did wrong in EQLive and fixed it in EQ2. Most of the quests are fun and involved.

So, for me, EQ2 > EQ.

Hi,

Would love to play some of these games, but so far I have been turned off by 2 reasons:
- I do not like the monthly payment, $15 is a decent amount of money here in Thailand (think lunch for 2 weeks)
- I'm afraid I will spend *way* too much time playing them

Having said that I might give Guild Wars a try when it comes out. Played the free demo in May (I think) and loved it.
EQ2 looks great as well though.

Sanuk!

I played guild wars but I never could kill anything. I would walk out of town and get owned by the ugliest monster I have ever seen (and I have a ton on games I play over Xbox, Playstation2, and the Computer).

Hi,

"I played guild wars but I never could kill anything."

Odd, never had any problems with this myself. Died several times of course, but did my share of killing monsters (several different types, including some 'boss' types).
I think I used a ranger / monk.
