we have a slight problem. our forum is in Arabic and as you may know, Arabic, unlike english, is written from right to left .. the problem is that we dont know how to move the boxes and options to the right side so that everything starts from the right ..

If i'm not mistaken, in normal html this is done with an edited html line; how would you normally set this up on a standard html page?

Go into your control panel, click on 'languages' then click on the language editor tool. Choose the generic language file, the second entry from the top is:

READ_DIRECTION

Change that from 'ltr' to 'rtl'

That should fix you up smile

If you translate the language files we'd appreciate it if you'd post the results here. With 7.1 there's the ability to use multiple language files, so you could use english and arabic. thumbsup

Can you zip them up and upload/attach to a new topic in our international support forum? I know it would be very much appreciated smile

You'd simply download the directory from the /languages folder.

As for moving the island, you'd have to use the "external use" link and include the output into the header into include; or if you're more of an advanced user you could convert the code so that it is smarty compatable and insert it into a template file.
