As a I talked about in a earlier post , How do I put the login forms on my homepage? Well here it is , it ties into login.cgi which is provided in the download. You can place the login forms virtually anywhere! Just read the instructions and your set! Easy as 1.2.3 --------------------------- Here is the .zip Download here... --------------------------- DO NOT EMAIL ME FOR HELP! MY EMAIL IS FULL ENOUGH! --------------------------- Another Alternative --> Contact me thru AIM , my sn is ( Liquid FX Design)

Is there a way to use the UBB cookie to allow the login page to remember a member's password like the UBB does?

I didn't download the zip, but how does this differ from my Login Anywhere hack located here . And yes, there is a way to get the cookie to fill in the form. I should put the JS in mine. [ March 23, 2001: Message edited by: Scud Muffin ]

Excellent hack ghost, very useful. BTW, has no-one has made a "log-off" script by any chance?

No, it doesnt do that. When you log in with the script, its great...but if you go back to it, and it automatically just sends you back to the main site. Where is this "login/logoff" hack lord dexter? I cant find that in the database....I know there is - https://www.ubbdev.com/db/cgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=8&t=000027 but thats way to complicated, all I want is a small script that will log out someone. I would be most appreciative if there is one around

There is, I have it installed on my forum and It was so easy to. But you have to have Who's Online Installed. If the Database link doesn't work report it to UBBdev and they will get it workin' again.

So you are talking about the LOGIN SCRIPT 2.0? Looked huge to me - the readme.txt looked like a small novel....I have got Whos Online installd.

Thats the one lord dexter, although the UBBdev database shows 2.0 although its upgraded to 3.05 odd. I just took one look at the login setup/txt, and must admit, i baulked! Huge, huge readme there....not really interested in anything fancy at all, all i want is a very simple login/logoff.
