OK...Space in user name now solved thanks to a user on my site!!!
All you need to do is add the following code in into the UBB_library2.cgi
At the total end of the cgi, you have that section that makes up the drop down list for the custom avatars, right before the $CUSTOM you need to add...
$customavataritem =~ s/s/%20/g;
So, make this...
Like this...
All this does is when the UTL for the image is written to the members file, if the user had a space in their user name, the space will be replaced with %20 . This will allow Netscape to be able to read the image correctly when called.
