Not sure if you were aware...but the button sections for IE and Netscape do not have the same things. I understand the code is different...what I mean is if you go to post a message here, in IE, and get the same page in NS, there will be buttons missing in your NS browser. Me, I added the ones I wanted, but I thought I'd point it out so you could make them consistent (if you like)

Also, it would appear that the function showsize(size) { portion is duplicated...is that needed? (shrug). I was too tired to remove one and test...I'm sorry.

Last but not least....What upload hack goes with this...the one by Ythan? I added the upload feature into the NS area, and when I click on it it is looking for the cgi...while in IE it looks for the html file. Hmmmm, guess I'll have to troubleshoot the NS area again.

When i click on the smilie insert button in postings.cgi and click on a smilie to insert, it doesn't work. The code of smilie isn't automatically past in the reply textarea. What's wrong?

speed has mentioned this before and the smilies do not autopaste for some reason.

You must set up smilies in the CP for them to work, other than that, they should work. Reply back if that is not the case.

Nope, still doesn't work

OK guys to put an end to the smilies auto-paste I found the reason. The smilies.cgi included with UBB CB's 5.5 is the OLD script before Allen modified for 5.46. Someone needs to fix the zip to include Allen's fix for 5.46 with the auto-paste.

If you already installed UBB CB's then just download the newer smilies.cgi here (Remember to go to the source and save from there)

Thanks for the headsup GoTo, download files are updated. I am closing this thread and beginning one in the "finished" forum, this is about as developed as it's gonna get, and I don't see any real bugs in it.
