I know you can display active topics with the action=getdaily param, but this outputs on a whole new page, within the ubb table framework. My question is this; Is there a hack that will output 1 .. n active topics, in raw html? ie. the topic title, hyperlinked to the topic thread. Ideally this would be callable from SSI, and would simply output a bulleted list of active topics, without any formatting.

Am I wishing too hard?

That would be an update of Dave Downin's active.cgi. I am sure he or someone else plans to update it for v6.

In other words, looking for something that will do what the latest topics SSI thing did in the older version of UBBDev, pre-UBB 6.
