I was wondering if there's a mod, a cgi command or whatever that would allow me to put a link to the latest updated 3 or 5 treads of my message board on the main page of my site. This would allow people who don't visit my board often to keep track of what's being changed.

Also, it would be cool for me if there was a mod that would allow UBB to act as a Comment script for my news. It would take my news post, automatically make it a message in the board (in lets say the "News" category), and if people want to comment, they'd be forwarded to that tread. I'm using Newspro to generate my news.

Cool. I've been wanting to do something similar.

*Display the number of new posts since the last visit on a non-UBB page.

*Display a page component with the 5 latest posts on on a non-UBB page.

I think this would go far to drive people into the bulletin board from the containing site.

Has anyone created mods with similar functionality?

Has anyone done this? I have been trying to figure out someplace to get this for a hwile, but no oe seems to be helping, any willing volunteers?!?!?
