I think it would be cool, if someone could make a hack that added a link. by "IP: Logged"
that said "Report This Post to a Moderator" and them somehow, it would report it to the mod(s) of the forum.
pain is a necessary thing for success

The forums at www.quake3world.com have a button that changes the folder icon to a folder with an M that flags it for moderators to look at. Their UBB is 5.47 I believe but I'm sure that one of these l337 coders could do that for 6.0x

that would be cool! it would just pm a mod.
even better when you click the link report to mod it would then goto a page with a list of mods they use selecs the mod he wants to report to and then click send

That option is on a vbulletin. It is a link on every post that sends a e-mail or pm to some kind of mod database.

vB does us lots of good since the mod they added is also written in Perl. Download the vb mod, play around with it to fit UBB and you've got your hack.
