I'm sure that many of you know what XML and RSS are, if not then I'll briefly explain it. One of the largest used features of XML output is what
www.lycos.com uses for their news, they use a backend file to retrieve news for a few news sites. Many programs also allow you to have headlines shown in the program (Trillian Pro and KlipFolio).
I was curious if anyone was capable of appending the data from "Latest Posts" to a backend.php page in the noncgi folder?
an XML page for this would look something similar to the following (note, this is what the user would see when they view the page):
[code][/code]It'd be most useful if it loaded no more than 10 posts. Note that all it would do is relay the "Topic Name" and the link to the topic.
It'd be quite useful in many applications, I was just curious if someone had the time and patience to work on it? I'm sure that it'd be widly used.
