I'm running UBB.classic 6.5. We are routing people from UBB to our registration. From there we create the necessary member flat file formatted correctly.

Given the above, how do I disable the UBB registration? I have gone into the CP under registration settings and configured the following:

- Suspend Registration: Do not accept new regs
- Enable Registration Features: Disable reg

I view the board as a non logged in guest. The ">> Login or register" that use to appear in the upper left corner is now only ">>". I refresh the board and now get this message:

FYI
This forum appears to be misconfigured. The forum Administrator has set this board to disable all registration options, but has set this forum to require registered users. Please contact the Administrator and ask him or her to correct the problem. Thank you!

» Please use your browser's back button to return.

I go back into the CP under registration settings and change Enable Registration Features back to enable. I can view the board and ">> Login or register" appears again. How do I disable registration and make ">> Login or register" (with arrows) go away?

Thanks,
Brett Romero

That is how it's configured now but still displays the login/reg.

you need to have that in case you ever get logged out. What you could try to do is remove the register link from login/register.

I'll look through the code for that

edit: In public_common.pl

find:
Code
[/code]replace with:
[code]
I think that should do it
