Hi, we have an archive forum with 150k posts and have a problem with newbies asking the same question without searching first. I assume this is a common problem.
Is there a way to add a Quick Search box in the forum summary area where someone could type a keyword and click a Search button? By pressing the search button, we could automatically search the forums I want.
I guess what I need is help on how to feed variables to the search feature...
Thanks

There is a hack here somewhere that added the search like that on the forum pages. Do a search and after you find it you should be able to modify it fairly easily.

I searched already, but did not find anything? What forum would it be located in? I used keywords "Quick Search" and "Search" and did not find anything.
