Anyone tried Netscape 6 yet? Just want to hear anyone's thoughts or comments about it.

I'm currently an IE 5.5 user, but I also have NS 6. I haven't formed a complete opinion about NS 6 yet.

It is way better than the other versions in many many ways.

Too many basic functionality bugs to be worth using. Bad CSS-P implementation, lacking in even basic tag constructs (they left out DT for some reason). Still not as fast or stable as IE 5.5

I'm not going to switch over any time soon.

I just finished downloading 6 for the third time. Thankfully, it functions this time around.

I don't like it, but it's better than previous versions. Unfortunatly, there are a lot of stupid bugs. On my board, some of the text is rendered in Times, but only the first line, or first few words. After that, it goes back to verdana, which is the correct font.

Also, my message icon boxes were filled in black, except for a few. I have no idea why. The menu for my site doesn't work at all. That menu is from bratta.com, and is used by a lot of people (I bet).

I'm not switching either. And I'm not sure I want to dump NS4 either, since so many people still use it, and I should still make pages that work well for it. Yet, I whine, it's such **** . I just want it gone.

decisions decisions.

Although it is better than previous versions, it is still buggy, and it freezes up for me sometimes. Sometimes it won't even launch. Well, I guess it'd be best to clear out all Netscape files and redownload again. It might be better than previous versions, but IE is still superior.

I was hoping/praying/doing voodoo rituals so that NS might finally try to interpret non-"web safe" hex colors in table bg's.

Didn't try hard enough, I guess. At least not for the Mac vs. (Does the pc vs. do it?)
