Is anyone here signing up to be a beta tester? I thought about it, but I worried the beta may be too unstable, I don't want my site to crash. ------------------

You can setup a new ubb without a second license as long as its not live. And yes, i signed up 10 minutes after announced. ------------------ Hack Developer of the Ultimate Bulletin Board. Are you going to do that MM? How would you set up a second ubb with the same license for the beta testing. And have you ever beta tested before? Can your members still post and go on and everything? ------------------

First, you setup a new ubb, for testing UBB6 *ONLY* It can't be live unless you have a second license. Nothing on it, just for testing UBB6. beta software of any kind is never recommended for a production environment, so I wouldn't recommend using the beta (if you're one of the beta testers) as your live board. However, I highly doubt stability issues will be any kind of factor whatsoever. If you are a licesne holder, you would just install the beta version in a seperate area on your site, and use it to test features. Maybe bring in copies of your live board's posts and memebers files etc. Also keep in mind, Ted is *hoping* to go to beta on 12/25. That doesn't mean that on xmas morning after you open presents, the beta version will definately be there for download ![[Linked Image]](https://ubbdev.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif) --mark
