What program do you use to do a file compare and where can I get it ? thanks (and if you want to know, it's only in order to update my wordlet file )
Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?

Let's put it together word by word. 1) File. A file is... a file. 2) Compare. To take two or more items and.. uh.. compare them to each other. So, file compare would be comparing two or more files to each other.

I believe they have a trial period, check it out. Invaluable when it comes to updating your UBB if you have already modified it.

It displays both the new file and the old file on your screen, one next to the other and highlights the changes.
Then to update one or the other you just click and it copies the new stuff to the old or deletes or whichever you chose to do.
For instance the wordlets file.. It displays both files next to each other and highlights the new wordlets for you.
If you have never hacked your filesor changed your wordlets you don't need to do this, just upload the new files and you are done, but if you have hacked your files and just want to know what is new without having to rehack all your files this is the way to go.

Yup, I did, use it at home. Also have Ultraedit32 at home and in the office.
Last time I compiled Apache on my server(months ago) I had edited the header file extensively. This time when I went to recompile the latest verson I didn't have to try to remember what the heck I did, I just used Beyond Compare. It also showed me what the Apache folks changed too. The time savings was worth the $ to me.
