Yup I like the new layout too.. exept the nav bar it kind of loads slow on 56k but I can live with that.

LOL, I wish I could get even close to 56K now. I recently moved from Wichita, KS to Kansas City for a job change. In Wichita I had a fast cable modem. I'm living in an apt here in KC until I can find a suitable house. The apt. complex I'm in doesn't have cable, but rather DirecTV, so I can't get a cable modem and I'm about 1,000 feet too far from the CO to get DSL.

So far I've never gotten a connection above 26.4Kbps. Talk about living hell! I went from approx 1.5Mbps a month ago to 26.4Kbps.

Naw. I switched to vBulletin... My site is moving to total PHP and mySQL base so it is easier to combine the databases. It is very similar to UBB and I learned a lot messing with both. I still can't get over how much this site has changed. Jeez.

I was thinking of switching to PHP/mysql systems for my next site.. Any recommendations on places to start, tutorial/advice/basics kinda stuff? Like, stuff you personally found useful..

And a book call Core PHP Programming is a great hardcopy for reference. But the best learning tool is to think of something you want to do, and just dive right in. I learn more from creating something I don't know how to and hacking things to make them do what I want then I ever do from a book or tutorial.

Yeah, I do that mostly too, but it's always good to have a resource to go to when you're stuck for answers.. Thanks
