Hi everybody..

Search for your password(s) in the registry. You may be unpleasantly surprized, as I was...

I found 3 or 4 instances of it stored verbatim in there... eek

Not that many people around me even know what the registry is to begin with, but you never know..

Hey TL, if people have access to your Registry then you have bigger problems laugh.

umm, matt. if people have physical access to your machine then you have bigger security problem than your password being in the registry.

Just a thought smile

So we don't believe in accessing Registry remotely?

Anything can be done. If someone has *any* access to your Registry, be it physical or remote, you're pretty well screwed unless the person truly fits the definition of a "hacker" - that is, only trying things for the sole purpose of learning and gaining knowledge but not using it for his/her own benefit.

it depends, you see, if he is a little phucker then he will display an error message saying

'h4x0r3d by '

before he deletes/changes anything. and all you gotta do is either disconnect from the net, ping him to death (my choice) or turn off your pc altogether.

and, like skorp said, if he IS a real hacker he will do nothign to ya.
