... is living in a country where they don't have jury duty.... Just got in from my eleventeenth session of jury duty. I am called quite often for jury duty, but never get to actually sit on a trial... the attornies don't want a nurse or a cop on the jury, they want blank slates they can mold with their opinions...:) Got to go back in the morning...

You're a cop too? I'd say stuff like "I believe wholeheartedly in the death penalty as a solution for every problem the world can create," and randomly shout out "GUILTY AS CHARGED!!!" They'll probably drop you really quick after that... ---Skorpion
Don't put that signature in your mouth! You don't know where it's been!

nnaaahh, there was one next to me tho and he was kicked too... on the shouting... that'll get you in jail for contempt of court, but it's very easy to be a lot more subtle and get the same message across/ results...;)

Ugh... Jury duty. Not that I'm speaking from experience (thankfully), but it doesn't sound too fun. I'd do anything legal I could to get kicked out of it. As far as I know, you've got to show bias against one party.

I got a jury duty notice once. That kinda freaked me out, since I'm not an American citizen.

I don't think I can be called for Jury duty because of the fact that I'm in the military...not positive though, but I havn't been called yet and my dad never was (he also was in the military). My step father once sent me a nifty e-mail of the top 20 ways to get out of jury duty....might go look for that, some of them seemed kinda fun.
