I bought the Windows XP Preview Program RC2 from Microsoft.com. Well once I downloaded the DDManager.exe (you XP guys know what this is), I got an error saying: DDmanager has caused an error in ddmanager.exe. ddmanager will now close So I try and re-download it again, and I still got the same error. I tried both methods, running it from the direct site and then saving it to my disk and running it from there, still got the same error.
To help here is my system at the moment: Windows ME (Millenium Edition), Gateway-Custom made PC and IE 6. Nothing else should have an impact on the ddmanager.exe file, so if anything else is needed please tell me.
I hope someone can help me soon, because I love XP and don't want to waste my 10 dollars for the download for nothing.

Aha! There's your problem - you need to install and boot into Windows XP for XP to become functional.

Well they say ddmanager is used to install the windows xp operating system and get the .iso. If not, then how do I get the .iso? When I download, all I got was that boring old ddmanager.exe file, no .iso.

Sorry if I confused you before, I was just joking around. I would suggest to restart your computer, and then close all open programs before running the installer again.
