I dunno what happened, but I think my sopundcard is disabled or something. I was listening to REM, and the song finished, and the next one was supposed to come on, but it didn't. I shut down my computer, restarted, and even the windows noise didn't come up. I started a game that is supposed to be really loud, but the sound didn't come on. I've tried playing MIDI's, WAV's, MP3's, and games, but none of them produce a noise. The only thing that has produced noise is the DX-Ball Theme Song... however the game itself won't produce any sound. Not even audio CD's work. I've checked the speakers... but they're fine. I've also tried to use my headphones instead and those check out. Anyone know what happpened?

check in your device manager for conflicts. either way, you'll probably end up having to reinstall your sound card drivers

How difficult is this?
I have a problem with sound on my home computer.
It'll work when I start up the computer, but then, when I work/play on it, the sound disappears. When I reboot, it's back again.
Thanks!

If your going to ask a computer question list your PC's specs, or else nobody can help you fix it.
