Looks like Communitech has gone on their usual terminate-peoples-accounts-for-some-reason-that-we-probably-cannot-prove-without-warning-them streak for the month... Our own Dave# was one of the targets. ![[Linked Image]](https://ubbdev.com/ubb/frown.gif)

History... er... No, not that I know of. In short, CT has had good and bad periods... I left right at the start of a bad period... I think another has started. They get so many signups that their techies can't keep up with problems, thus all things go to **** . ![[Linked Image]](https://ubbdev.com/ubb/frown.gif) Yup, they terminate with NO WARNING... As is obvious by the number of complaints on their clients-only forums. Of course, they flatly deny everything.

My account has been shut down, twice, due to, and I quote "No index page, 100 megs on FTP." If they have bothered to look at my site, and see the large amount of material hosted on subdomains, things would have been a lot better. Idiots, I'm thinking of switching to the host of this domain, as they have a pretty good package. ------------------ Chris «Stallion » Lambert clambert@gamespy.com ModCentral / PlanetUnreal

In fairness to CT CPFC.org was upto data transfer of circa 20 gig with 500,000 hits (exluding graphics)- Too much for a virtual account-

Thats true Charles, Unfortunately I was putting a new firewall in, changing the internal IP of our webserver whilst our Vlan went in- everything went orribly wrong and cpfc.org was the least of my concerns- I am philosophical about it- generally you get what you pay for in life and with CT I was not paying much ![[Linked Image]](https://ubbdev.com/ubb/wink.gif) I am exploring the possibilities of running my personal machine (sparc 5- solaris and apache) from behind our corporate firewall but I don't know how to hide my firewall dns from the outside world. If I tracert it now i get dmz_thenameofmyfirewall- anyone know how to hide this kind of info from prying eyes? cpfc.org is up btw
