WHere do you people get your money from? Are there any places on the web that you can earn money from ads or something? I would just like to know how you people get all your money to pay for this all.

Well if you have a realy big site you could get sponsers...... You could sign up at a ad place (dont know of any off the top of my head) or you could ask for donations (lol):-)

Simply, I had a job. Used the money from there and bought a ubb, the thing is I just don't know if I'd be able to earn enough right now without a job to pay $20 some dollars a month that's all.

Fortunately my two sites are pretty small so I'm able to use a relatively cheap host and have the site still run well. The largest expense was buying two UBB licenses for each site, but it was well worth it. My sites are just a hobby and my non-Internet/computer career pays for it all.

Man.... our site is hosted on dedicated server $110/month, add 80gb data transfer $200/month... so three hundred a month, between donations and advertising.
