We used them before we moved over to http://www.hostnuke.com/ and theres no way I'd ever go back. We had a lot of issues with their "customer support", and i use support ligtly...

Since I went over to HostNuke I've not had a problem with connectivity, host names, heck they even gave me extra space when I asked for it . Plus their prices are cheaper than most other hosts.

Wow, that sounds a lot like a sales pitch lol..

That's a good place to look for hosting, and some good lessons to be learned. Have you done a search there to see what a lot of those host say about UBB? If you want a good host then you're going to pay more than $7.77 a month to get it.

True, some hosts want to charge you extra for CGI access which is quite odd at best. I for one however won't be leaving HostNuke for some time, whenever i need something updated its generally done through their online help centre in a short ammount of time.

I'm looking at digitalprinceton's prices, their quite close to HostNukes so I'm kind of impressed, however their opening flash (made in swish no doubt) makes their services look lacking.

Haha, the website has been *a work in progress* for some time. I work with them to set up and move customers UBBs. Steve is a great host. I'm glad to hear that you've found a good host also. We need to share this info.

Yeh, it can be so hard to find a good quality host with a good customer support staff, most of the time its just people who have a co located server that gie you space on it which can suck cas usually they dont know their behind from a hole in the ground...

I actually talked to Drak at HostNuke about an hour ago, he said he's going to be needing some more personell and asked if I'd be available, so I was sitting here all "cool, i'll be paid for using your services!" lol..

I've heard of people offering hosting at impossibly low prices and stealing code when it's uploaded. It's an easy way to get free software and designs.

Yeh, I hate when people have to sit and be so un-ethical about most things. I mean we spent a great deal for our images and design, now we're porting it to our own CMS that we're developing, so its going to definately suck if someone gets ahold of the code lol...

We actually can't go a few months without finding 2-3 sites which have stolen our content, its sort of amusing, especially when their hosts terminate their accounts lol...
