UBB.Developers Forums Community Development Design, Style and Graphics Quick little request...

Hi guys, I would like to know if somebody could help me with a little request I want to make. I installed the Cosmetic Links hack on my board, pokeruins.com , and added the images that it brought into my UBB. I then proceeded with hacking away at it myself and came up with the Banner on the top, Cosmetic Links under the banner display you see right away.

Well, as you can see, it says Calendar all the way to the right, but not in the same Fashion the Cosmetic Links show. I ask if somebody could follow the same pattern as the Cosmetic Link button images and come up with the following buttons, if possible with the description of the button in the parentheses:

1. PokeRuins.com (A PokeBall(the Blue one that I have in my Banner can be used, this one should have the ends on it, as in like Profile and Search since I will seperate this one from the rest to the left as it's own button)

2. Chat (The little Chat icon that appears next to the Chat "forum")

3. Announcements (Perhaps a little megaphone or an old school radio of some sort)

4. News (A little newspaper ala News Fader Icon)

5. Archives (This will be a drop down menu that I will code, so perhaps a little orange or light blue arrow pointing down?)

[EDIT: Forgot one. -_- A Polls button to link up tho the Polls page, perhaps just the same little Light Bulb icon the Polls Category is already running. [/EDIT]

Thanks for fixing it Stilgar, I didn't notice the spacing problem until I made the POKERUINS.COM bar and noticed that the I was squeezed in with the other letters - I fixed it on that one. Here they are.

Thanks, I just noticed a C-E spacing problem in the ANNOUNCEMENT bar so I've fixed it and re-uploaded it, so refresh if you still see a spacing problem. Lurili, what are the dimensions that you would want with the arrow, and any specific hex code for the colours?

Wow, those came out great AK! Thanks a lot!!! /me runs off to add... Oh yeah, for the Archives button arrow, something around the size of the Announcements megaphone thingy that you made. Again, wonderful, just wonderful and thanks lots!
