Members In the Spotlight ::
Congrats to the winners of this month's members' spotlight: Expats.cz came in first out of a fine field of candidates for top honors. Combining unique design, great integration, and member involvement, they have a very nice site to be proud of. Perennial powerhouse HostBoard took runner-up honors with excellence in quite a few categories themselves Combining a MySQL backend with make-your-own forums, subcategories, etc etc etc they have a great community.
Congratulations to both for a fine showing
Content Rulez ::
If, after reading the interview by tacks and visiting the site doesn't make you wanna run to the slopes, you just aren't a skier. EpicSki has me itching for some greens and hopefully some nice wide blues this winter An excellent blend of advice, tutorials, and reviews, you owe it to yourself to check out their site before you strap on your next set of skis.
Software Reviews ::
Trillian Pro gets the once, twice and three times over as its release will be playing a big part in the future of a lotta ubb forums. Greg does a great job of explaining the ins and outs of this great product. Stop for a minute and see what the fuss is all about. You'll be wanting it before the year's out, I promise
Coffee-Talk ::
I try my best to get a little rap going with the women of ip in a little sit-down session I like to call ubb.k. Step behind-the-scenes as Kristi, Kate, and Kimberly tell us what it's like working for Infopop, living in Seattle, and what exactly does Charles do with his time...
Got SMTP? ::
Those running a server from their house (and who isn't nowadays?), you need to be able to set your SMTP service up correctly for your email functions from your forum to work. Check out the short quick tutorial on the easy way to get this done.
