UBB.Classicâ„¢ 6.7 Released!

- Earlier tonight Infopop released version 6.7 of the best forum script thumbsup Many features were added, the cp was reskinned to match UBBCentral\'s new look, and a nice mature software script only got better. smile

For the official announcement, check Dave's post here . I'll finally be updating my personal site finally laugh

Speaking of New Paint ::

- For the first time in >2 years, we're updating the design here. The default scheme 'frosty' is what you're seeing now (if not just update your profile to choose it). We have that one and the ubbhackers style ready with another one coming this week.

A combo of JC's excellent work, Bookie's tight buttons, Ian's assistance with css and html, this has been a project in the discussion/making for >2 years tipsy We'll be tweaking it more this week and pushing it out to the rest of the site as well once it's complete. smile

If you need any color scheme, graphics, or design help, check out JC's site at www.ubbdesign.com or Bookie at www.blamoholics.com , and I'm sure Ian is available for assistance with your site.

As always, thanks to LK for all the hard work he's done here on our ubb files over the years and the great staff here thumbsup

I don't like the spacing between posts smirk... I especially don't like how the board is broken right now (10:45a) lol; all i see is white stuff and big blue blobs where posts would normally be :x...

everyone gets 'frosty' now whether they choose it or not... if you've chosen ubbhackers in your profile you'll display that one smile

that's fine for people who don't have a set cookie, those who do will see a white page and a bunch of red x's (or alt text if good browser)

Is it possible to duplicate the existing look (use new look under old name) so those with a different style in their cookie will not see a broken page? (Showing how unfamiliar I am with LK's mod to allow style change).

True dat, but I was smart enough to change it. I've learned some things during the time I've been here.

frosty.css loads for whoever accesses the site, cookied or not smile Do a "view source" for any page in the forum here, you'll see this in the headerinsert area:

Code
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="https://ubbdev.com/ubb/css/frosty.css" />

Now everybody's profiles are reset to frosty. You can choose to have either frosty or ubbhackers.
