Unusual Problem with host.

I'm currently hosted with www.peel.com, they're a music network that hosts various sites. Well, I'm running my board on their servers and the biggest PAIN with them is that in order to adjust any variable files, I must re-chmod all variable files in order for the changes to be in effect. I have no idea how to fix this problem with the server because my contact I have with them has no idea what the problem is with their server. I have a feeling they have a script that auto chmods the files to 664 or something like that every 60 seconds. This is truely bizarre, but it also affects all of my other cgi scripts, like Newspro, etc. I can get them to work and show up, but when I want to post a news story, I have to chmod all newspro files to 777. This is just a constant annoyance. Any suggestions on how this MAY be able to be resolved? Thanks.
