Yes, my server support ssi and i can call cgi all over it. The page where it shall appear is ended .shtml

What is the status.cgi file supposed to do? And is the text being shown, is it the script?

Is it even setup to work with SSI? Is it a status changer that needs to be called with an HTML image code?

Try include virtual instead of exec cgi
