I suspect the answer to this question is available in a number of threads, but a quick search didn't find it for me.

Does UBBThreads run with PHP 5? If so, what version (UBBThreads) is required? Are any patches/mods needed?

I know of users running on php5. I do see this in the 6.5.2 announcement here:

I run 6.5.x on php 5.1.4 without problems
