I am going to try and explain what I want to do. I have a left side menu bar similar to what is used here. I want the menu bar and header to stay stationary, when the pages is scrolled. I have seen this in a couple of other forums. Can anyone direct me.

You would have to use frames for something like that, I believe. Create a frameset similar in structure to your current table. Then make all your links in the navbar include TARGET=FRAME_NAME, where FRAME_NAME is the name of your UBB frame.

or use a page feeder

What do you mean by page feeder? I use frames now but i actually hate them. I would much rather use tables but still have a static logo at the top and a static left navbar.

rcweb's site is framed. That picture tht is stationary is a "fixed" background image inside the content frame... much like the one on my stand318 site. Just do a "view source" on the page to see how they/ I did it...

In content I also run a Christian board I thought you might want to check out my calender. Right up your alley perl script and fully customizable.Allows you to enter lots of info about events in the control panel. Pop up windows for every day. Also is passworded so you can select who adds to the calender.

a site feeder i mean Feeder allows you to only have to edit one header or footer file to maintain the same look and feel across your whole site. download and demo here http://nethog.com/sitefeeder/
